Eastern Bering Sea circulation

Collaborators: J.Zhang, A.Kurapov

Reconstruction of the circulation in the Eastern Bering Sea during 2007-2010

Goals: (1) Reconstruct the circulation; (2) Estimates of the transports; (3) Estimates of the eddy transport accors the slope; (4) Define the factors that control circulation in the Eastern Bering Sea shelf;

Data: (1) Climatological temperature/salinity data; (2) 6 moorings in the Aleutian Passes, moorings in the Bering Strait; (3) SSH altimetry data (4) Meteorological data
